Pakistan
When floods take a home, they also affect the family’s income, children’s education and access to healthcare. In Pakistan, repeated natural disasters make it difficult for families with limited resources to get back on their feet.
Imdad contributes food and health support, water projects and practical training for women. We connect crisis relief with opportunities for a safer daily life.

The need and our response
A crisis can take more than a home
Floods, extreme heat and economic vulnerability can affect families’ income, education and access to healthcare at the same time. UNICEF highlights how repeated natural events interrupt basic services. Aid must meet today’s needs and strengthen opportunities to move forward.
From emergency relief to skills and healthcare
Imdad’s engagement in Pakistan grew after the floods in 2010. We have since contributed food support, water supplies and healthcare, including food parcels after the Gilgit-Baltistan floods in 2022 and an eye-health camp in Gujrat in May 2026.
Women in Kharian and Saang Number Daran received free sewing and basic IT training in 2025. Locally recruited female instructors taught with a clear aim: skills that can be used in daily life and work.
