Sudan
The war in Sudan has displaced millions of people. Families lack food and clean water, while disease and failing healthcare threaten lives. Reaching safety is only the beginning of the struggle to cope.
Through local relief partners, Imdad contributes water supplies, temporary clinics, food and hygiene items. Your support helps us meet several of a family’s basic needs.

The need and our response
Families need help every day
The war has disrupted livelihoods, displaced people and weakened access to basic services. UNICEF’s mid-year report, published in August 2026, estimates that 33.7 million people need humanitarian assistance in Sudan.
Food shortages, disease outbreaks and failing water and health services make the crisis particularly serious. Families need help with several essentials at once: safe water, food, hygiene and accessible healthcare.
Water, health, food and dignity
Through local relief partners, Imdad contributes water supplies, temporary clinics, food and hygiene items. Updates from Kassala in September 2026 show water deliveries and hygiene packs for people affected by conflict and displacement. Assistance aims to meet basic needs with respect for those receiving it.
