Food in crises
and stronger livelihoods
No one should face the day without knowing whether their family will eat. War, displacement and lost income make this a reality for many. Imdad provides meals and food, and supports work that can strengthen livelihoods over time.

How Imdad helps
We provide hot meals where families lack kitchens, and groceries where they can cook themselves. Assistance is delivered locally in places including Gaza, Bangladesh, Sudan and Lebanon. In Burkina Faso, planned cultivation is linked to water and practical learning.
From the kitchen to the field
In a crisis, food is needed now. In more stable periods, cultivation and practical skills can create further opportunities.
Food rations and hot meals
Support reached internally displaced families and people in temporary shelters as part of Imdad’s emergency response.
A hot meal in the refugee camp
Rohingya families gathered for a meal prepared through Imdad’s local work. Food support forms part of an engagement that began in 2017.
Food packages prepared locally
Local field staff pack food for distribution.
Agriculture and sustainable food production
The integrated project aims to give young people practical knowledge and link food production to local water infrastructure.
